Rolling hills ushered small towns into autumn in fabulous swirls of fiery red and golden yellows. Clara, on the other hand, was settled into a subdued, delicate, and introverted existence as an artist during this same vibrant season, finding comfort in her routine activities of daily sketching in the park. One crisp afternoon, while drawing the intricate veins of a fallen leaf, she became acutely aware of a figure sitting across the path-Ethan, a newcomer, with his infectious smile and an old camera slung around his neck.

Their gazes locked, and something sparked. But Clara did not take the plunge. Shy by nature, she would get lost in her art, whereas Ethan, from what Clara could see, was an open book with a wealth of warmth and adventure. But life it seemed had it the other way round. For weeks to come, they kept crossing paths at the local coffee shop, farmer’s market, and local festivals. They started to find their connection a little deeper and deeper until they could talk beneath the sprawling oak tree in the park while sharing stories.

Ethan was drawn to the reserved self and artistic passion of Clara, whilst Clara was drawn to his adventurous spirit. He introduced her to photography and taught her how to look at the world in new angles and perspectives. They roamed through fields and tried to freeze some of the deceptive grandeur of nature, and they always laughed together at the wanted take.
